Xiaomi Mi 5 benchmark score reveals some inside specs

Xiaomi has a broad concept of its flagship device the Mi 5 bringing it in different variants carrying an unusual combination of design, specs and price tags. Among the Xiaomi Mi 5 trio, the Standard Edition is equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB of native storage. The second variant or the Xiaomi Mi 5 High Edition comes with the same 3GB RAM but 64GB storage for those who consider more storage. While the third variant is the Special Edition with a ceramic back which comes with a 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which can take you beyond the limits regarding processing performance and storage. With different RAM and storage levels all three Xiaomi Mi 5 variants are powered by Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 820 chipset but for the Standard Edition, there is a little different clock rate.

The prices for the Xiaomi Mi 5 apparently sets at 1999 Yuan, equivalent to $306 for the unlocked 1.8GHz model with 32GB storage. While the other units which are clocked at 2.15GHz are priced at 2299 Yuan or $350 for 64GB and 2699 Yuan or $411 for 128 GB.

With these certain specs, price combination the Xiaomi Mi 5 Standard Edition recently appeared on AnTuTu benchmark with a score of above 110k points. The Mi 5 Standard Edition also maintained an equally high score of 1901 points on the GeekBench for single core and 4704 for the multi-core test. Comparing the scores of other key devices the Xiaomi Mi 5 is doing good at a price of $300 quite close to the more expensive devices.
