The grainy image above displays the band in all its glory. It can be clearly seen, that the wearable features an LCD display as well. Furthermore, it looks like there will be physical buttons on the activity tracker also. Speculation suggests that it might be similar to the FitBit Charge HR, but hopefully, it will come at only a fraction of the price.

Earlier this month Huang Wang, who works at Xiaomi, disclosed that the second-generation Mi Band 2 and a Mi smartwatch is scheduled to launch in the next couple of months. Huang Wang is also the CEO of smart wearable manufacturer company, Huami.

According to the report, Xiaomi has shipped over 10 million Mi Band fitness activity trackers in the first nine months of 2015. The manufacturer comes in third place to Apple and Fitbit in the wearable technology market. Mi Band Pulse went on sale, packing an optical heart rate sensor, for 99Yuan; that’s about $16.
