Xiaomi releases Redmi Note 3 with metallic body, 4000 mAh and fingerprint scanner

After many rumors and leaks Xiaomi finally makes its new member of the Redmi note family official. The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was unveiled company’s mega event held in China. As it was suggested the official unveiling shows the Redmi Note 3 with metallic outlook carrying new techs including fingerprint scanner and a huge battery for long lasting performance.

The Redmi Note 3 comes with new material used in its build to give it a distinct metallic look. However the device on its unveiling shows some older design features too. But still there are a number of parts that were renovated to give it a look of its own with the metallic build. The thickness seems to have reduced but still we can’t place it with super thin devices. However the looks are nice enough with more rounded edges and other stylish looks.

Under the hoot it carries the MediaTek Helio X10 Chipset that makes the Redmi Note 3 perform at 2.0GHz. The RAM comes in options with native storage level. There is a 16GB model carrying RAM of 2GB while a 32B model is carrying 3GB RAM. Storage option is going to play the role as it lacks the external storage option.

Finally packing up as a high featured device it also carries a 13megapixel camera with certain camera features like phase detection autofocus. On the rear with camera you can also find the newly introduced fingerprint scanner. The scanner works several ways from unlocking your device to mobile payment. Finally you will find a huge 4,000mAh battery to support all these high specs. Running the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop it carries prices tag of about $140 for 16GB model and $172 for 32GB in Chinese market.
