After all this success Xiaomi has faced some legal problems in India as well because Ericsson claimed that Xiaomi’s smartphones breached several of its patents. Due to this legal issue the company was recently banned by the Delhi High Court to sale its product in India and sale ban cannot be lifted before February 5, 2015. However later the banned was partially lifted by another Court and now Xiaomi can sell the smartphones that have Qualcomm chipsets until January 8, 2015.
