On the GFXBench a handset with model number SM-J510x spotted with 5.2inch screen and other impressive specs. Considering the model number SM-J510x, the device seems to be the upcoming Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016). The original Samsung Galaxy J5 comes with the model number of SM-J500, which is quite close to the model number of currently spotted handset.
Considering the details by the GFXBench the listed Galaxy J5 features 5.2inch display. It shows a little larger display as compared to the 5inch panel on the original Galaxy J5. Despite the stretched display size, the resolution is same at 720x1280pixels on current and upcoming Galaxy J5 (2016).
The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) specifications show some nice differences as compared to the older J5. We see 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM with 5.2 inch display with 13MP back camera.
Also the specs sheet shows many things in common between both devices. Like the original Galaxy J5, the specs under the hood are same at least for chipset. Both carry Snapdragon 410 SoC with quad-core processer clocked at 1.2GHz and Adreno 306 GPU.
Another common factor to note on the GFXBench list for the Galaxy J5(2016) is the camera. Like the current model the next Galaxy J5 (2016) will be equipped with 13megapixel on back and 5megapixel on front face. Other camera features are also expected to remain unchanged.
Though most of the things are common in between original Galaxy J5 and the upcoming model but still there are some areas to note the upgrades. After a little increase on the display size the next increment is visible on RAM capacity. Against the 1GB RAM on the Galaxy G5, the next model will be equipped with 2GB RAM.
The same we can note for the internal storage which is also doubled. The Galaxy J5 (2016) will be equipped with 16GB of internal storage against the 8GB storage on the current model. Finally, the upcoming Galaxy J5 will arrive with Android 5.1.1 pre-installed.
