Samsung to focus on Galaxy J series in 2016

According to the details the Samsung Galaxy A series and the Galaxy J series devices will stand as leading names for this revised shipments in 2016.

Samsung continues its successful journey in the smartphone market this year with some impressive devices launched in low and mid-range. Though the high-end Samsung devices have their own market but the impressive performance of the non-high-end devices, like the Galaxy J5, seem shaping Samsung plans for 2016. We may find Samsung less focused on high-end devices in 2016, while hopes are high for some more impressive devices for budget market.

This emerged after a report published in Korea quoting an unnamed Samsung partner. According to the report the company is going to cut down its overall smartphone shipment by 12 percent in 2016. With this considerable reduction, the total shipment of Samsung smartphones will range between 420 million to 430 million units during the year. And as report shows this cut will effect mostly the high-end devices.

The reports suggest the reduction in Samsung shipment is mostly because of the overall slowdown faced in smartphone market.

According to the details the Samsung Galaxy A series and the Galaxy J series devices will stand as leading names for this revised shipments in 2016. We already have a number of devices being discussed out of Galaxy A and Galaxy J series. However the devices like Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge are quite likely which may stay on the list to make up the short shipment of high powered devices.

Analysis also suggest a strong growth in shipment of mid-range devices of Galaxy A series and low-range devices of Galaxy J series. The competitive advantage with growth in low and mid range devices may take Samsung to revise its plans in 2016 with less shipments and more focus on devices in low and mid-range.

However the reports suggest the reduction in Samsung shipment is mostly because of the overall slowdown faced in smartphone market. Therefore Samsung is expected to meet an undeterred space in the smartphone market with an equally high demand for its upcoming devices.
