Apple iPhone 7 rumours have already started popping up on the internet. According to the latest rumour, Apple is going to make its latest flagship device extremely thin. Due to the 3D Touch both the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus were thicker than the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. The new 6S version had .2mm increased thickness than its counterparts.
But, Apple is sending its upcoming smartphone on a diet. The handset will measure somewhere between 6mm and 6.5mm. Rumour is that the company is looking to accomplish this by removing the 3.5mm earphone jack. This will make the device sleeker.
Most people were hoping that Apple will use the space freed by removing the earphone jack to equip the smartphone with a higher capacity battery instead of just making the device thinner. Although, another rumour suggests that we might still get a bigger battery in the iPhone 7.
A photo of an alleged iPhone 7 battery reveals that it will have a 6.5% increase in watthours. The iPhone 6S has 6.61 WHr which will increase to 7.04 WHr. There are still several months before Apple latest flagship is unveiled but still, Apple iPhone 7’s rumour mill is already very active. Same as its predecessors; the iPhone 5 and iPhone 6, the upcoming device is also expected to be released in two models; iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus by 2016. There is also speculation that Apple is the latest devices will have 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screen sizes.
One rumoured features that will greatly distinguish the iPhone 7 from 7 Plus is RAM. iPhone 7 may be equipped with only 2 GB RAM while the iPhone7 Plus is expected to sport 3 GB RAM. The design of iPhone 7 is rumoured to be similar to the iPhone 6S, the body has not been finalised yet so this could still change.
