Google has started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop to the Nexus devices and other smartphones including tablets. It has introduced 4 new videos on Youtube channel to promote their latest Android operating system. Earlier Google launched Android 5.0 with a ‘Be together Not the same’ slogan and it seems these new videos are extension to the earlier videos.
With the help of Androidify app, some characters have been created and used in these videos. Each android platform can easily be identified in these videos like smartwatch, tablet, camera etc.
For those who are not familiar with Androidify app, it is an app which helps you create his/her own personalized character to make the Android Avatar of you or your favorite character. You can pick various body shapes, clothes, accessories and a lot of other options to ‘Androidify’ yourself. You can also make animated characters and let them dance and share them on social media as well.
First Video called Garage Band is about band of four actually highlighting the Camera of smartpohnes using Android. Second video named scary movie is about watching movies on tablets and the third one named Break Room is about smartwatches.
The fourth and the last video is a road party on bus full with different Androidify characters having fun together. This video sheds the light on the idea of how much using all the different android devices can be fun and tempting.
These newly launched videos do not highlight the features of Android 5.0, instead they are more sort of
celebrations about Android lollipop.
