More Xiaomi Mi 5 leaks show the smaller display panel

In the last weeks we have noticed a number of leaks and rumors about the Xiaomi Mi 5. Recently a couple of images were out suggesting the finished looks of the much awaited upcoming Xiaomi device. Here we have a fresh leak showing us a little more about the Xiaomi Mi 5 with a clearer view into its front.

After having a brief look into the fresh pics we can get the earlier leaked concept reinforced here. The pictures show the same rounded corners on the Xiaomi Mi 5 with home button. As we have reported the home button is expected carrying the fingerprint scanner.

There are some reports too suggesting a new ultrasonic scanner on the Xiaomi Mi 5 but it seems not confirmed yet. With the home button present we may get the device with a traditional fingerprint reader. The reports suggest, with ultrasonic reader we may find the home button excluded as it operates without a physical button.

With the round corners and home button the front view of the Xiaomi Mi 5 also gives us an idea about its display size. Recently the details leaked for the Xiaomi Mi 5 were showing a 5.2inch display however the leaked images show it a little smaller in size. The display size stands same with the Xiaomi Mi 4 while the resolution is expected at 1080X1920pixels while the density at 441ppi.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 was recently rumored to arrive in the first quarter of 2016. A report gives us a more precise view with the device getting introduced on January 21 while the launch event on a date in February. Yet the company itself has not shown any move sending out invitations. The Xiaomi Mi 5 has got enough attention being company’s flagship release after a long gap.
