The updated version is mostly focused on fixes to the issues spotted earlier but it also brings some demanding features. Using your updated jailbreak tool on iPhone the Cydia 1.1.23 now allows you to restore you device to the earlier package. This is useful for many as the new updated package may not give you the desired results and you may get stability issues.
After the updates now you have options to go back to earlier releases. Therefore if you find your last package more stable than the current release you can downgrade. Also if the last version is not your ideal anymore it allows you to get back to any other version. But you need to have the version of the same package in the repository to downgrade for a version older than the last one.
Following a simple set up whenever you encounter any issue on the tweak you can downgrade to older version. After flashing the Cydia 1.1.23 on your deice you can get to the downgrade option by tapping on Modify.
Alongside the downgrade option the Cydia updates brings another key feature like the TweakHub. For those new to the TweakHub toll, the feature helps in searching the tweaks over your flashing tool. However the function of the new features are not limited to just discovery of tweaks but also it give you options to make the discovery of apps simple and according to your preferences. For instance, you can find the option ‘find extensions for applications on the main page of Cydia where you will get a categorized list of tweaks.
